The Experience

Here’s your chance to showcase your skills on the global racing stage. The E-Fest E-Sports Tournament engages racing enthusiasts and gaming communities across Canada with an online and live competitive E-Sports racing circuit. Offering various opportunities to qualify, the E-Sports Tournament will allow players of all levels to experience a competitive and fun tournament leading up to the excitement at Canadian E-Fest.
The game and platform will be announced at a later date.

    E-Fest E-Sports bi-weekly Online Qualifier

    Based on the featured Car and Track, registered competitors will have a period of time to submit the fastest lap of the qualifier. Of the submitted times, the top 2 per bi-weekly online qualifier will be invited to the Online Tournament of Champions.

    E-Fest E-Sports Online Tournament of Champions

    Again, adhering to the featured Car and Track, the 12 qualified competitors will race head-to-head for the fastest lap times and one of 7 spots available for the Live Grand Championship

    E-Fest E-Sports Live Qualifier

    The live qualifier will run on-site on the E-Prix stage, offering event attendees the opportunity to win the last spot in the Grand Championship event. Once again, Event attendees will need to use the featured Car and Track and place the best time of the day to qualify.

    E-Fest E-Sports Live Grand Championship

    In the Live Grand Championship on the E-Prix stage, the top 8 competitors from across the series will race head-to-head in a series of featured Cars and Tracks to post the best overall times.

Tournament schedule*

Canadian E-Fest E-Sports to hold a bi-weekly online qualifier. Registered gamers will have a limited time to submit the fastest qualifying lap. Top 2 bi-weekly qualifiers will be invited to the Online Tournament of Champions. The 12 qualified competitors will race head-to-head for the fastest lap times. The fastest from this session will be given 1 spot of 7 to compete in the Live Grand Championship on the E-Fest stage. In the Live Grand Championship on the E-Fest stage, the top 8 will compete.

Prize Money


Players will compete for their share of a $50,000 prize pool and the coveted E-Fest E-Sports Series trophy. Coming out of the online qualifiers, there will only be one spot left in the Grand Championship. This will exclusively be available for those attending E-Fest, providing an opportunity to qualify on our main gaming stage..

Created in Vancouver’s historic False Creek district, the 2.21-km, 15-turn temporary Formula E-Prix circuit takes 56% less streets than the Indy circuit from 2004 in Vancouver.
